Inter have little chance of being caught by Juventus in the Serie A title run-in, according to the Bianconeri’s former midfielder Mauro Camoranesi.

Antonio Conte’s side are nine points clear of second-placed AC Milan and 10 points clear of Juventus at the top of the table, with just 11 games remaining.

Camoranesi, who spent eight years with Juventus between 2002 and 2010, believes Inter have the perfect style of play to win the Scudetto and expects Conte to get the job done for the Nerazzurri.

“Juventus might even manage to win every game from here to the end, but at this point only Inter can lose the title,” Camoranesi argued in an interview for Thursday’s print edition of Tuttosport.

“The Nerazzurri have a perfect style for the Scudetto.

“Conte is a guarantee to win the title.

“His teams are tough and solid but in the Champions League, Antonio is not a lucky guy.”

Inter will not play again in Serie A until April 3 after Saturday’s match at home to Sassuolo was postponed today.

Milan’s local health authority ordered the game to be called off after four Nerazzurri players – Stefan de Vrij, Matias Vecino, Danilo D’Ambrosio and Samir Handanovic – tested positive for COVID-19 this week.

Conte’s side will therefore return to action at Bologna after the upcoming international break.
