There have been no further positive test results at Inter following the latest round of testing, according to an Italian media report today.

As per Corriere dello Sport’s online edition, following the positive cases of Danilo D’Ambrosio, Samir Handanovic, Stefan de Vrij and Matias Vecino, no new positive cases have come from the testing conducted yesterday.

Further testing will take place today and the results of these tests will be learned tomorrow, when Inter should have been playing Sassuolo.

Due to the recent infections at the club, the local health authority in Milan ordered the suspension of football activities at Inter until Sunday meaning tomorrow evening’s match with the Neroverdi has been postponed.

Inter have had a total of 13 players test positive for COVID-19 since the start of the 2020-21 season and in addition to these players, several members of the club staff, including management, have tested positive.

Of the handful of staff to test positive in recent weeks, four have recovered while chief executive Giuseppe Beppe Marotta is still positive.
