Napoli have begun planning for life after Elseid Hysaj, with Inter left-back Federico Dimarco emerging on their list of transfer targets.

As reported in today’s newspaper edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Partenopei appear set to lose Hysaj at the end of the season after failing to renew the Albanian’s contract, whilst fellow defenders Kalidou Koulibaly and Nikola Maksimovic could be sold.

In a bid to replace Hysaj, Napoli have turned their attention to Dimarco after his impressive spell at Hellas Verona this season, with senior figures at the club keen to recruit the 23-year-old.

Verona have an option to sign Dimarco permanently at the end of the season and Napoli are ready to begin negotiations with the Gialloblu to bring the defender to the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona.

Into his second season on loan at Verona, Dimarco has made 39 appearances for the club and scored four goals, having only previously featured six times in all competitions for Inter.
