Inter might get their chance to sign Rodrigo de Paul from Udinese this summer, according to transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio.

De Paul is being linked heavily with a move to the Nerazzurri after another impressive season with Luca Gotti’s side.

Speaking on Sky Sport 24 last night, via FcInter1908.it, Di Marzio offered an update on the 26-year-old’s future and provided some good news for Antonio Conte and co.

“I think this summer could be the one where De Paul leaves Udinese,” he revealed.

“I don’t know if he’d make the difference but the player we’re seeing now would be a key player and a starter for teams like Inter, AC Milan and Juventus.”

Di Marzio also gave an update on the price Udinese would be likely to demand for De Paul, should the Bianconeri decide to let the midfielder leave at the end of the season.

“He has a high valuation,” the reporter warned.

“But we don’t know if Udinese will be able to sell him for €35 million.”

De Paul has made 29 appearances in all competitions for Udinese this season, scoring six goals and providing seven assists.

He played the full 90 minutes yesterday as Gotti’s side lost 1-0 at home to Lazio in matchday 27 of Serie A.

Conte is thought to be keen on a move for De Paul this summer, as per recent reports, although Udinese’s technical director Pierpaolo Marino has made it clear they won’t be selling the Argentine on the cheap.
