Antonio Conte will only have one day to prepare Inter’s Serie A fixture at Bologna with a full squad, according to a report in the Italian media today.

Gazzetta dello Sport’s print edition said Conte would not have the last of his international players back on April 2, just 24 hours before the Nerazzurri’s crucial trip to the Stadio Renato Dall’Ara.

Inter’s remaining players trained as usual at Appiano Gentile yesterday under Conte’s watchful gaze.

The first team completed a double session before having a practice match with a reduced-size pitch.

Inter are six points clear of AC Milan at the top of Serie A with 11 games left (and they have a game in hand), making them firm favourites to win the league title for the first time since 2010.

Conte’s side will go 20 days without playing between their last match at Torino on March 14 and the upcoming match with Bologna.

In the meantime, four Inter players have tested positive for COVID-19 – Danilo D’Ambrosio, Samir Handanovic, Stefan de Vrij and Matias Vecino – and the matchday 27 game at home to Sassuolo was postponed.
