Suning seem to have no intention of selling Inter for the time being, according to a report in the Italian media today.

The Nerazzurri’s owners have been subject to intense speculation throughout 2021 so far, with various rumours they could be persuaded to leave the club.

However, Quotidiano Sportivo (via FcInter1908.it) says the Zhang family prefer the idea of securing a loan deal to selling Inter.

Fortress are in talks with them over a loan deal worth €250 million which would give Inter a future under Suning.

Suning would only consider letting go of Inter, the report continued, if somebody were to present an offer worth €1 billion.

BC Partners and Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund have both been heavily linked with buying into Inter during recent weeks, but if this report is to be believed then it seems neither group is close to agreeing a deal.

Suning have been Inter’s majority shareholders since 2016 when they bought the club from Erick Thohir.
