Inter midfielder Christian Eriksen is in high spirits in training as Denmark prepare to begin their 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifying campaign.

Kasper Hjulmand’s side begin their journey to Qatar with an away match in Israel tonight, before subsequent matches at home to Moldova (on Sunday) and away to Austria (on Wednesday).

Eriksen was a late arrival in the Denmark camp after Inter suffered a COVID-19 outbreak and Milan’s local health authority banned players from leaving for international duty.

The 29-year-old joined up with his teammates on Tuesday and clearly didn’t take long to settle back into the group.
