Aleksandar Kolarov is on his way out of Inter, according to a report in the Spanish media today.

TodoFichajes.net confirmed the Serbian was not part of Antonio Conte’s plans for next season, with Inter planning not to exercise the option in his contract to extend his deal by another year.

Kolarov will therefore leave the Nerazzurri in the summer and is already analysing the best next options for him.

Bologna are said to be the best placed side to take the 35-year-old, with negotiations between the two parties said to be ‘on the right track’.

Kolarov reportedly believes he still has a lot to offer in Serie A and wants to continue his career there.

The defender joined Inter on a €1.5 million deal from Roma last summer but has made just 11 appearances for the Nerazzurri in all competitions.

He has failed to score for Conte’s side so far and provided just one assist, which came in a 2-2 draw against Parma last October.
