Inter have built their success in Serie A this season on two key qualities, according to former Juventus midfielder Angelo Di Livio.

The Nerazzurri are 10 points clear of their arch rivals with 11 games left in Serie A, meaning Juventus are almost certain to miss out on the Scudetto for the first time since 2011.

Antonio Conte’s side are on an eight-game winning run in the league and seem heavy favourites to clinch the league title.

Asked by TuttoJuve.com today why Inter were so far clear of the Bianconeri, Di Livio said: “Inter have proven themselves to be a really strong team.

“They’re consistent, solid in every area of the pitch and armed with a centre-forward in Romelu Lukaku who’s been devastating.

“The difference between them and Juventus has only emerged this year, because the Bianconeri have come off nine straight years in which they were always the best.”

Inter and Juventus both have games in hand on second-placed AC Milan, which will be played on April 7.

Conte’s side host Sassuolo after the game was postponed following Inter’s COVID-19 outbreak, while Andrea Pirlo’s men will play Napoli at the Allianz Stadium.

Inter’s next match in Serie A however will be on Saturday night, when the Nerazzurri visit Bologna at the Stadio Renato Dall’Ara.
