Inter Could Offer Marcelo Brozovic New Contract To Fend Off PSG & Bayern Munich, Spanish Media Claim

Inter could offer Marcelo Brozovic a new contract in a bid to fend off interest from Europe’s elite, according to a report in the Spanish media.

TodoFichajes.net said the Nerazzurri were ‘evaluating’ an extension for the midfielder, who was close to joining Paris Saint-Germain last summer.

PSG are once again interested in Brozovic ahead of the upcoming transfer window, while fellow Ligue 1 high-flyers Monaco and Bayern Munich are also keen on the 28-year-old.

Brozovic’s contract expires in 2022, at the end of next season, meaning Inter would risk losing him for free if they didn’t extend his deal or sell him this summer.

Antonio Conte has gone from wanting Brozovic sold to identifying the Croatian as an untouchable player in his midfield, the report continued.

It is possible that Brozovic’s recent decision to change agents could be a sign of him wanting to stay at Inter, they suggested.

However, Inter will need to get a move on and offer a new deal because his suitors are many.
