Inter will have Samir Handanovic between the sticks as normal on Saturday when they visit Bologna, according to a report in the Italian media today.
Corriere dello Sport’s print edition said the goalkeeper was on course to start at the Stadio Renato Dall’Ara this weekend, having returned a negative test for COVID-19 on Sunday.
Handanovic took part in an individual training session at Appiano Gentile yesterday and it seems as if he will be back in full training with his Nerazzurri teammates today.
Matias Vecino has also tested negative again for COVID-19, as per a separate report in this morning’s papers.
Antonio Conte will now hope Stefan de Vrij and Danilo D’Ambrosio can recover from the virus in the coming days, as Inter face three games in Serie A next week.
The Nerazzurri host Sassuolo on April 7, four days after the trip to Bologna, before another home game against Cagliari the following Sunday.
