Antonio Conte Wants Extra Commitment From Inter Players In Serie A Run-In, Italian Media Report

Antonio Conte is not letting up even for one second as Inter prepare their Serie A title run-in, according to a report in the Italian media.
Corriere dello Sport’s print edition said the Nerazzurri’s head coach will issue a rallying cry to his players when everyone returns from international duty.
Inter are six points clear of second-placed AC Milan (with a game in hand), but Conte is wary of his side taking their foot off the gas now they have a comfortable lead.
Instead, he will request even more commitment from his players than he has obtained so far, insisting that the hardest part for Inter is still to come.
Inter have 11 games separating them from a first league title since 2010, but their lack of experience in this situation could potentially play against them.
Conte will also be keen to silence Inter’s detractors, the Rome-based paper explained, after Juventus boss Andrea Pirlo suggested they were ‘fortunate’ to have their game with Sassuolo postponed due to COVID-19.
Nobody at Inter was pleased with Pirlo’s comments and Saturday’s match away at Bologna will give everyone the chance to put his jibes behind them.
