Piero Giacomelli will take charge of Inter’s next Serie A fixture away at Bologna on Saturday.

Antonio Conte’s side will visit the Stadio Renato Dall’Ara for matchday 29 of the 2020-21 season, with kick-off scheduled for 20:45 CET.

Livio Marinelli will assist Giacomelli as the fourth official in Bologna with Aleandro Di Paolo overseeing VAR duties.

Inter will be hoping to consolidate their six-point lead over AC Milan at the top of the table with victory over Sinisa Mihajlovic’s side.

Giacomelli has taken charge of one previous Inter fixture this season, refereeing the Nerazzurri’s 2-1 win at Hellas Verona on December 23.

The 43-year-old’s most recent assignment was the match between Benevento and Fiorentina on matchday 27, which saw the Viola run out comfortable 4-1 winners.

Inter beat Bologna 3-1 in the reverse fixture back in December, courtesy of a double from Romelu Lukaku and an excellent individual goal from Achraf Hakimi.

Conte’s side arrive at Saturday’s match off the back of an eight-game winning run in Serie A.
