Inter are one of five European giants to have made an offer to Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero, according to a report in the French media.

FootMercato claimed the Nerazzurri had moved for the Argentine, who is available on a free transfer this summer, along with Paris Saint-Germain, Barcelona, Manchester United and Chelsea.

Manchester City confirmed on Monday that Aguero would leave the Premier League leaders after 10 seasons, triggering a wide range of transfer speculation over his future.

The 33-year-old is said to have a big admirer in PSG boss Mauricio Pochettino, who is uncertain on the futures of Kylian Mbappe, Moise Kean and Mauro Icardi.

Aguero joined Manchester City from Atletico Madrid in 2011 and has since scored 257 goals in 384 appearances.

He is regarded as arguably the greatest striker in Premier League history and seems set to be subject to a tug of war between Europe’s top clubs in the coming months.
