Milan Skriniar is full of adrenaline on his return to Inter after grabbing his second goal in as many games for Slovakia.

The 26-year-old had never scored for his country in 37 senior appearances before last weekend, but then he went and scored in a 2-2 draw against Malta and again during Tuesday’s 2-1 win over Russia.

Skriniar was one of five Inter players to return to Appiano Gentile on Wednesday, along with Romelu Lukaku, Ivan Perisic, Marcelo Brozovic and Achraf Hakimi.

The Nerazzurri’s defender celebrated his goal against Russia by posting on Instagram: “We continue to fight!”
