Antonio Conte can breathe a sigh of relief because none of Inter’s players have brought COVID-19 back from international duty.

FcInterNews.it said the Nerazzurri’s last five players to return – Nicolo Barella, Alessandro Bastoni, Stefano Sensi, Christian Eriksen and Andrei Radu – had all returned a negative molecular test today.

All five can therefore return to group training at Appiano Gentile, just like the previous five internationals – Romelu Lukaku, Marcelo Brozovic, Ivan Perisic, Milan Skriniar and Achraf Hakimi – did yesterday.

Danilo D’Ambrosio (who is still positive for COVID-19) and Arturo Vidal (who is recovering from a knee injury) are the only players not available for tomorrow’s fixture at Bologna.

Conte will be looking to defend his six-point lead at the top of Serie A over AC Milan when Inter visit the Stadio Renato Dall’Ara.

The Nerazzurri have not played since beating Torino 2-1 on March 14 and are therefore raring to get back to action after their lengthy stop.
