Inter appear to have overcome the COVID-19 outbreak that rocked the squad last month after returning negative tests on Saturday.
As reported by FCInterNews.it, the Nerazzurri have been able to welcome back defender Danilo D’Ambrosio after he finally returned a negative swab, meaning that coach Antonio Conte has a full squad available to him.
D’Ambrosio had been the first player to contract the virus following the Serie A victory over Torino last month, with the full-back testing positive on 16 March.
He was followed by Samir Handanovic, Stefan De Vrij and Matias Vecino, although the trio all overcame the virus and returned negative tests last week.
Further testing carried out has now confirmed that no other members of the squad or staff have the virus, with 33 people tested and all returning a negative result.
The initial outbreak saw Inter’s league match against Sassuolo on 20 March postponed, with the fixture rearranged for Wednesday.
