Inter’s Moroccan international wing-back Achraf Hakimi believes that the Nerazzurri are in just as good a form after the international break as they were before it he told an Italian broadcaster moments ago.

Speaking to Inter TV the former Real Madrid man underlined that he believes that the Nerazzurri are on the right path as well as how important it is to continue on this road until the end of the season.

“I think that we are doing well and that we are on the right path just like before we went to our national teams. We have to continue in this direction and continue to work by doing what we have done until now.”

The former Borussia Dortmund loanee continued by explaining that the key to winning away against Bologna is to continue playing like a team in both phases of play.

“I think that we have to do what we always do, defending together and attacking well by defending in the way we know how to.

“Bologna is a great team and very attacking.”

In conclusion, Hakimi was reminded about having scored twice in the first meeting between the two sides at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza, stating he hoped to add to that tally tonight.

“Yes, Bologna is the only team whom I’ve scored two goals on. I hope to be able to score another one, however first I need to defend and then to help the team by scoring a goal like I did in the first meeting.”

Achraf Hakimi signed for Inter ahead of this season leaving Real Madrid in a deal worth reportedly €40 million. Since then he has 36 featured times across all competitions for the Nerazzurri scoring 6 times in the process.
