Inter’s Serie A title run-in will be decisive to determining the futures of two Italian midfielders, according to a report in the Italian media today.

Gazzetta dello Sport‘s online edition said neither Stefano Sensi nor Roberto Gagliardini were certain of staying at the club for next season yet.

Ivan Perisic is also fighting to secure his future at Inter during the Nerazzurri’s last 10 games, although the Croatian is thought to be more likely to stay given his improved form of late.

Arturo Vidal, who is under contract until 2022 with an option to extend until 2023, is in the same position as Perisic – but Vidal will find it harder to convince Inter to keep him, given his hefty annual salary worth €6.5 million.

Analysing Inter’s likely transfer moves in midfield this summer, the Milan-based paper said Matias Vecino was likely to be put up for sale after an injury-ravaged campaign.

Nicolo Barella, Marcelo Brozovic and Achraf Hakimi are certain to stay, while Ashley Young is due to leave with his contract expiring at the end of this season.
