Inter are all but certain of winning the Serie A title with 10 games to go, according to the Nerazzurri’s former striker Christian Vieri.

Antonio Conte’s side have the chance to open up an 11-point lead over AC Milan at the top of Serie A by beating Sassuolo in tonight’s rearranged fixture from matchday 27.

Despite not always producing their best performances in recent weeks, Inter have extended their winning streak in the league to nine games.

Vieri has picked up on his former team’s ability to win ugly, telling viewers on Bobo TV (his Twitch TV channel) earlier this week: “I don’t want to jinx anyone, but Inter have almost won the Scudetto now.

“It’s the ‘dirty’ games like the ones against Torino and Parma which win you league titles.”

Inter were made to fight for their victory at Parma last month, eventually securing a 2-1 win at the Stadio Ennio Tardini thanks to a double from Alexis Sanchez.

Conte’s men then had to wait until the 85th minute to score the winner in their next away match, seeing off Torino by the same scoreline after a fantastic header from Lautaro Martinez.
