Inter have hailed Romelu Lukaku and Lautaro Martinez’s remarkable assist record after last night’s 2-1 win against Sassuolo.
Both strikers were on target at San Siro as Antonio Conte’s side pulled out an 11-point lead over AC Milan at the top of Serie A.
Lukaku set up Lautaro’s goal to make it 2-0 against the Neroverdi, which is the eighth time one has assisted the other in Serie A this season.
As highlighted by Inter on Instagram, this is unsurprisingly a record in Serie A for the 2020-21 campaign.
