Inter will keep winning trophies for as long as Antonio Conte and Beppe Marotta stay at the club, according to former Palermo president Maurizio Zamparini.

Conte has yet to win his first major title with the Nerazzurri but it seems likely he will soon secure the Scudetto, following a run of 10 straight wins.

Inter are 11 points clear of AC Milan in second with nine games left, with Conte having picked up the team after a last-minute top-four finish in 2019.

Zamparini was full of praise for Marotta in particular, telling Radio Sportiva today: “As long as he’s there with Conte, Inter will keep winning.

“Perhaps they won’t play beautiful football, but they’ll win.

“I ‘trained’ Marotta up while we worked together at Venezia, he’s a serious person who understands football.

“Juventus thought they could do without him but Marotta is like Paulo Dybala or Cristiano Ronaldo.”

Zamparini also offered Palermo’s former striker Dybala some advice on his future, which could be music to Inter’s ears.

“I’m sending him messages telling him to leave Juventus,” Zamparini revealed.

“Dybala needs to be the star of the team and be the man who controls games, free to move about the pitch.

“Ever since Ronaldo joined Juventus, we haven’t seen the Dybala we know because they can’t co-exist together.

“Paulo is good enough to play for Barcelona or Real Madrid, he hasn’t had affection or support from Juventus.”

Inter are reportedly ready to make a move for Dybala if La Joya stays at Juventus until the end of his contract next summer.

Marotta was instrumental in bringing the 27-year-old to Turin back in 2015, having agreed a €40 million deal with Zamparini.
