Inter’s new fourth kit will have to wait a little longer before making its debut, according to a report in the Italian media.

The Nerazzurri launched their ‘Stadium Fourth’ strip earlier this week, an innovative kit featuring a variety of colours, shapes and patterns.

Reports recently had suggested Inter could attempt to get permission from the Lega Serie A to wear the kit for Sunday’s match at home to Cagliari.

However, FcInter1908.it have confirmed this will not happen, with Antonio Conte’s side instead set to wear their usual home kit.

Inter will be hunting an 11th straight win when they welcome Leonardo Semplici’s side to San Siro, having pulled 11 points clear at the top of Serie A by beating Sassuolo in midweek.

Conte’s side have become the first team since Arrigo Sacchi’s AC Milan in the 1989-90 season to begin the second half of a league campaign with 10 consecutive wins.

Inter could also equal the club’s all-time record for home victories in Serie A (12) with a win at the weekend.
