Inter are increasingly likely to be without Ivan Perisic again for Sunday’s match against Cagliari, according to a report in the Italian media tonight.

FcInterNews.it confirmed Perisic and Aleksandar Kolarov had again trained separately from their teammates at Appiano Gentile today.

Perisic and Kolarov will therefore find it very difficult to recover in time for the Nerazzurri’s game against Leonardo Semplici’s side.

Both players missed Inter’s wins over Bologna and Sassuolo and have not featured since before the international break.

Antonio Conte’s side will be chasing an 11th straight win in Serie A this weekend, having pulled out an 11-point lead over second-placed AC Milan in midweek.

Inter could equal the club’s all-time record for consecutive home league wins (12) on Sunday, which would take them another step closer to the Scudetto.

Perisic has scored three goals and provided five assists in 35 appearances for Inter this season, while Kolarov has played just 11 times with one assist.
