Inter have benefitted from the influence of Vice-President Javier Zanetti as they look to bring in new sponsorship to the club.

The former captain took on the position upon retiring as a player in 2014 and has been active in his position, working with potential partners to bring income into the club.

According to FCInter1908.it, Zanetti played a key role in the most recent agreement found with Inter’s new official water providers, Acqua San Bernardo, with the Argentine leading discussions and applying his signature to the contract.

With the top clubs within Italy struggling to find new sponsorship deals during the current COVID-19 pandemic, Zanetti’s ability to mediate between partners has proved to be a huge benefit for Inter.

The former right-back has also been heavily involved in transfer dealings, development of the club’s academy and charity initiatives as part of his role as Vice-President.

Zanetti joined Inter from Banfield in 1995 and went on to make 858 appearances for the club, winning five Serie A titles and the Champions League.
