Inter are one of three European giants monitoring the progress of West Ham United forward Jesse Lingard, according to a report in the US today.

Lingard is on loan from Manchester United until the end of the season and has scored eight goals in nine Premier League appearances for the Hammers so far.

ESPN said the Nerazzurri were following the 28-year-old’s situation with interest, along with Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid.

West Ham are keen to snap up Lingard on a permanent deal in the summer, the report explained, but his impressive performances have attracted the attention of several top European clubs.

Lingard has not made a decision on his future yet but he is thought to be keen on joining a side playing in the UEFA Champions League.

The England international has scored in four consecutive games now for West Ham, with another two goals coming in yesterday’s 3-2 win over Leicester.
