Inter might have to fend off Paris Saint-Germain if they want to sign Rodrigo de Paul from Udinese, according to a leading Italian broadcaster today.

Sportitalia confirmed that the Nerazzurri were one of the leading contenders to secure the 26-year-old’s services if he left Udinese at the end of this season.

Inter are not the only club interested though, with PSG now studying whether to make an investment on De Paul.

De Paul is likely to be subject to interest from all over Serie A and Europe in the summer, although it remains to be seen how much Udinese will want in order to sell their captain.

The Argentine has made 31 appearances in all competitions for Udinese this season, scoring six goals and providing seven assists for Luca Gotti’s side.

Inter have been repeatedly linked with a move for De Paul in recent months, with Antonio Conte thought to be an admirer.
