Inter defender Aleksandar Kolarov could be heading to Turkey next season, according to a report in the Italian media today.

Gazzetta dello Sport’s print edition said the Serbian had attracted interest from Galatasaray, who have already made contact with his entourage.

Kolarov is out of contract with Inter at the end of the season and it is unlikely he will be offered an extension with the Nerazzurri.

It remains to be seen, the report explained, whether the 35-year-old would be interested in moving to play in the Turkish Super Lig.

Kolarov has been out of action for three weeks at Inter after picking up a muscular problem while on international duty with Serbia.

He is the only player who Inter expect to be unavailable when Antonio Conte resumes training at Appiano Gentile tomorrow, as per a separate report today.

Kolarov has provided one assist in 11 appearances for the Nerazzurri since joining from Roma last summer.
