Inter have forgotten what it feels like to trail in Serie A, a report in the Italian media highlighted today.

Tuttosport’s print edition pointed out that the Nerazzurri had not fallen behind in a league match since conceding the opening goal at Roma on January 10.

Lorenzo Pellegrini broke the deadlock at the Stadio Olimpico before Inter came from behind to secure a 2-2 draw.

Since then, Antonio Conte’s side have gone 13 games without trailing at any stage, keeping nine clean sheets in that time.

Inter were frequently forced to come from behind during the first third of the season, with Conte’s defence leaking goals against unfancied opposition.

The Nerazzurri now boast Serie A’s joint-best defensive record alongside Juventus though, having conceded 27 goals in 30 games.

Inter are 11 points clear at the top of the table after a run of 11 straight wins, putting them on the verge of a first league title since 2010.
