Inter sent birthday wishes to their former defender Nicolas Burdisso on Monday as he turned 40.
Burdisso joined the Nerazzurri from Boca Juniors in 2004 and went on to spend five highly successful seasons at San Siro, winning four Serie A titles along with three Supercoppa Italianas and two Coppa Italias.
The Argentine, who left to join Roma in 2009, made 139 appearances in all competitions under Roberto Mancini and Jose Mourinho, scoring eight times in total.
Inter tweeted: “Many happy returns!”
