Lautaro Martinez could soon have the same agent as his Inter teammate Achraf Hakimi, according to a report in the Italian media today.

Corriere dello Sport’s print edition said Lautaro was expected to hire Alejandro Camano as his manager after parting company with long-time agents Beto Yaque and Rolando Zarate.

Lautaro is on great terms with Hakimi and it is more than possible, the report explained, that the Moroccan has influenced his decision to recruit Camano to manage his interests.

Inter remain confident in any case that El Toro will sign a new deal with the club, perhaps on his own before signing a new agent (like Milan Skriniar did back in 2018).

Camano is on excellent terms with Real Madrid, having taken Hakimi from Los Blancos to Inter last year, and was even contacted by Lautaro’s former agents Yaque and Zarate last summer to ask whether the La Liga giants might be interested in signing El Toro.

It remains to be seen whether Real Madrid or Barcelona, who courted the 23-year-old at length last summer, will use Camano’s likely appointment to come back in for the striker.
