Ivan Perisic is set to return for Inter’s starting XI when they visit Napoli on Sunday night, according to an Italian media report this evening.

Gazzetta dello Sport (via FcInter1908.it) said Perisic returned to group training at Appiano Gentile today after making a full recovery from the muscular issues he had.

Antonio Conte is therefore likely to have Perisic in his line-up when the Nerazzurri travel to the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona.

Perisic has not featured for Inter in more than a month, after returning from March’s international break with a slight injury.

Arturo Vidal and Aleksandar Kolarov are less further along with their respective recoveries, the Milan-based publication added.

Both players continued to train individually today, unlike Perisic, and seem unlikely to be included in Conte’s squad for this weekend.

Inter will go searching for a 12th straight win in Serie A when they take on Gennaro Gattuso’s side, who they beat 1-0 back in December at San Siro.
