Inter midfielder Arturo Vidal is unavailable for this evening’s Serie A match against Napoli as he continues his recovery from knee surgery.

The Chile international underwent an operation last month to resolve a minor issue in his left knee and had hoped to feature after the international break, but is yet to see action since starting the 1-0 win over Atalanta on 8 March.

As reported by FCInterNews.it, Vidal remained at the Nerazzurri’s Appiano Gentile training ground today to continue his fitness work, after coach Antonio Conte ruled him out of contention during his press conference yesterday.

Vidal has been joined by defender Aleksandar Kolarov as he also looks to recover from injury, and the pair did not travel to Naples with the rest of the squad.

The summer signing from Barcelona took to Instagram to post a story of himself on an exercise bike as he targets a return to the first team.
