Antonio Conte is not currently interested in anything other than Inter’s Serie A title charge, according to a report in the Italian media today.

Inter took another step towards the Scudetto last night by securing a 1-1 draw at Napoli, meaning they now only need 12 points in seven games to become champions.

Conte was asked by Sky Sport Italia after the match about Inter’s transfer plans and his own future, replying: “The present is too important, once everything is finished we’ll have time to sort everything.”

Gazzetta dello Sport’s print edition said this was proof that Conte cared about nothing but Wednesday’s next match away to Spezia.

Christian Eriksen was Inter’s saviour last night as the Dane fired in a second-half equaliser at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona.

Samir Handanovic had given Gennaro Gattuso’s side the lead before half-time with a comical own goal, following a mix-up with Stefan de Vrij at his near post.
