Inter’s next Serie A fixture away to Spezia will be refereed by Daniele Chiffi.

Antonio Conte’s side will travel to the Stadio Alberto Picco on Wednesday as they look to take another step towards winning the Serie A title.

Inter are nine points clear of AC Milan with seven games left and seem odds-on favourites to win the club’s first Scudetto since way back in 2010.

Chiffi has taken charge of the Nerazzurri on one occasion so far this season, when Inter beat Genoa 3-0 at San Siro in February.

Inter kept their title charge on track last night when they secured a 1-1 draw away to Napoli, thanks to a second-half equaliser from Christian Eriksen.

Chiffi also took charge of Spezia’s famous 2-0 win at home to AC Milan back in February, on the weekend which saw Inter go top of the table for the first time.

Conte and his players will need to hope that is not a positive omen for Vincenzo Italiano’s side, who are seven points clear of the drop zone.

Manuel Volpi will be fourth official at La Spezia while Paolo Valeri will oversee VAR duties.
