Romelu Lukaku produced the performance of a leader during Inter’s draw at Napoli last night, according to a report in the Italian media today.

Inter took another small step towards the Serie A title by securing a point at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona, keeping them nine points clear of AC Milan with seven games left.

Corriere dello Sport’s print edition said Lukaku was the Nerazzurri’s driving force in Naples and gave him a rating of 7/10, the same rating given to Christian Eriksen.

Lukaku was said to have risen to the challenge of facing Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly, carrying Antonio Conte’s side in attack and playing a key role in Eriksen’s second-half equaliser.

Nicolo Barella and Marcelo Brozovic got ratings of 6.5/10 for their performances against the Partenopei, while six players – Lautaro Martinez, Alexis Sanchez, Ivan Perisic, Matteo Darmian, Alessandro Bastoni and Milan Skriniar – received 6/10.

Samir Handanovic, who scored a first-half own goal, and Stefan de Vrij were both awarded 5/10 after their mix-up which handed Napoli the lead.
