Antonio Conte is picking up points with Inter at an even quicker rate than he did at Juventus, a report in the Italian media highlighted today.

Tuttosport’s print edition revealed Inter had picked up 157 points in 69 league games under Conte, giving the Nerazzurri a points-per-game average of 2.28.

Conte collected just 155 points in his first 69 Serie A matches at Juventus, making an average of 2.25 for the Bianconeri, but there is one big difference between now and then.

Whereas with Juventus he had already won a league title and was on course for a second, the Turin-based paper explained, Conte has still yet to secure the Scudetto with Inter.

Inter will face Juventus in Turin on the penultimate weekend of the Serie A season, and it could well be that Conte’s side head to the Allianz Stadium as champions.

The Nerazzurri can take another step closer to their first league title since 2010 when they visit Spezia tomorrow.
