Stefano Sensi insists Inter’s players will not be distracted the chaos surrounding Europe’s botched Super League by when they face Spezia tonight.

Antonio Conte’s side must put all the off-field shenanigans to one side and focus on the pitch as they take on Vincenzo Italiano’s side at the Stadio Alberto Picco.

Inter need a maximum of 12 points from their final seven games to secure the Serie A title, which they have not won since way back in 2010.

“Our thoughts have been entirely on the league,” Sensi, who starts on the bench for the Nerazzurri tonight, told Sky Sport Italia.

“We have an objective to reach and we’ve only been thinking about the match against Spezia.”

Sensi then gave a follow-up interview to Inter TV ahead of kick-off in La Spezia, where he reiterated a similar concept.

“Spezia are a tough side who play good football, but the objective we have is too important.

“Even though we’ve had a short recovery time from the last match, we’ll try and produce a good performance.”

Antonio Conte has made just one change from the starting XI which began Sunday’s match away at Napoli, with Ivan Perisic replacing Matteo Darmian at left wing-back.

Romelu Lukaku and Lautaro Martinez start up front after El Toro fought off competition from Alexis Sanchez to be named in the line-up.

“Spezia will concede a few chances given the way they play, and we need to be clever to exploit certain situations,” Sensi added.

“We’re a strong team, we know what our weapons are and we’ll try to make the most of them.

“There might be fatigue after playing Napoli, there could be anything, but we have an objective to reach which is too important.”
