Hellas Verona appear to have begun discussing Inter full-back Federico Dimarco’s future at the club, as per a report in the Italian media today.

L’Arena’s print edition (via CalcioHellas.it) said the Gialloblu’s sporting director Tony D’Amico held talks yesterday with Giuseppe Riso, the agent of both Dimarco and Eddie Salcedo.

Dimarco and Salcedo are both on season-long loans with Ivan Juric’s side from Inter but their futures remain uncertain beyond the end of the current campaign.

The report offered no further details on the meeting but it is very much possible that Riso was there to discuss both players’ futures with Hellas Verona.

Inter are reportedly considering bringing Dimarco back to the club for next season, as Antonio Conte seeks reinforcements for the left wing-back position.

The 23-year-old is on loan at Hellas Verona with an option to buy, but the Nerazzurri are thought to have a counter-option if they wish to re-sign him (although reports are conflicting on this).

Dimarco has scored four goals and provided five assists in Serie A this season, while Salcedo has scored twice and provided two assists in all competitions.

Inter will welcome Hellas Verona to San Siro on Sunday as Antonio Conte’s side continue their march towards the Serie A title.
