Inter fans have nothing to be concerned about despite last night’s frustrating 1-1 draw at Spezia, a report in the Italian media claimed today.

The Nerazzurri were forced to settle for a point at the Stadio Alberto Picco after Ivan Perisic cancelled out Diego Farias’ opener shortly before half-time.

Corriere della Sera’s print edition admitted Inter had missed a big opportunity to extend their lead further over AC Milan, after the Rossoneri were beaten at home by Sassuolo.

However, Antonio Conte’s side are still destined to win the Scudetto in their view, with the title triumph said to be a matter of ‘when’ and not ‘if’.

Inter picked up their second draw in consecutive games after a run of 11 straight league wins, which means the Nerazzurri will need to wait a little longer before celebrating the title.

Conte’s men will be unable to secure the Scudetto until at least May 1 now, when Inter visit Crotone on matchday 34.

Inter need a maximum of nine points in order to wrap up the title, which will become eight if Atalanta fail to beat Roma tonight.
