Inter fans have little to worry about following last night’s 1-1 draw away at Spezia, at least according to one leading Italian journalist.

The Nerazzurri had the chance to go 12 points clear of AC Milan at the top of the Serie A table, but they were forced to settle for a point at the Stadio Alberto Picco.

Diego Farias opened the scoring for the hosts before Ivan Perisic got Antonio Conte’s side back on level terms, but that was where the scoring ended for Inter.

Despite this, Libero columnist and Inter supporter Fabrizio Biasin remained upbeat and tweeted: “A frustrating draw but a harmless one, against a team that has very little money but a really good organisation (and a bit of luck, which never hurts).

“Inter are 10 points clear (of AC Milan) with six games left, it could be worse.

“Well done to Inter and long live Serie A.”

Inter need a maximum of nine points from their remaining six league games in order to become champions for the first time since 2010.

Conte’s side return to Serie A action on Sunday when they will welcome out-of-form Hellas Verona to San Siro, which will most likely put them up against their loan player Federico Dimarco.
