Inter’s former striker Goran Pandev reached a very special career milestone on Wednesday night.

Pandev scored twice for Genoa as Davide Ballardini’s side secured a 2-2 draw at home to Benevento, which all but secured the Rossoblu’s Serie A status for another season.

As highlighted by Opta, the 37-year-old has become the first player from North Macedonia to score 100 goals in Europe’s top five leagues (England, Spain, Italy, France, Germany).

Pandev is remembered fondly at Inter after helping the Nerazzurri win the treble in 2010, during an 18-month spell at the club.

He scored eight of the aforementioned 100 goals while playing for Inter.
