Alexis Sanchez is in contention to start for Inter when the Nerazzurri host Hellas Verona on Sunday, according to a leading Italian broadcaster this evening.

Sky Sport Italia admitted it was too early to predict Antonio Conte’s starting XI against the Gialloblu, which will only become clearer after tomorrow’s tactical sessions.

Sanchez is nonetheless thought to have a chance of displacing Lautaro Martinez up front, with Romelu Lukaku expected to keep his place in the line-up.

Conte could also leave Christian Eriksen on the bench against Ivan Juric’s side, while Ashley Young has a chance of being preferred to Ivan Perisic at left wing-back.

Inter will be keen to return to winning ways this weekend after picking up consecutive draws away from home against Napoli and Spezia.

Conte is almost certain to be without Arturo Vidal and Aleksandar Kolarov again at San Siro, after the pair both trained separately from their teammates earlier.
