Inter coach Antonio Conte remains fully focused on ensuring the club secure the Scudetto and will only sit down with President Steven Zhang at the end of the season.

As reported in today’s newspaper edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport, Zhang is set to return to Italy from China in the coming days but Conte is refusing to allow any distractions in the title run-in, with Inter requiring a maximum of nine points from their final six matches to be crowned champions.

The newspaper suggests that Conte is seeking clarity from Zhang but has no intention of leaving Inter and wants to begin discussions on the future of the club after the campaign.

However, the coach is wary of going into another season with doubts and off-the-field distractions as has been the case this year, and would like confirmation of plans in the summer.

With Zhang set to arrive in Milan by Friday, all conversations surrounding long-term plans will be put on hold and the focus will remain on the final matches of the season, as Inter close in on a first Scudetto since 2010.
