Inter’s hopes of landing Flamengo midfielder Giorgian De Arrascaeta have been dealt a blow, with the Brazilian club unwilling to sell.
As reported by Bolavip.com, Inter and Torino are interested in the Uruguayan, with the Nerazzurri identifying him as an alternative to Christian Eriksen in midfield.
However, Brasileirao champions Flamengo are determined to keep hold of the 26-year-old and would only begin to consider offers above €20 million, potentially pricing Inter out of a move.
The Nerazzurri may also face another stumbling block in convincing De Arrascaeta to make the switch to Serie A, with the former Defensor Sporting player keen to remain in Rio de Janeiro.
De Arrascaeta joined Flamengo from Cruzeiro in 2019 and has scored 30 goals in 109 appearances for the Rubro-Negro, helping them to consecutive league titles and the 2019 Copa Libertadores.
A Uruguay international, he made his debut for Albiceleste in 2014 and has gone on to earn 26 caps, representing his country at the 2018 World Cup.
