Inter are preparing a ‘transfer alliance’ with Como for next season after the Lariani secured promotion to Serie B at the weekend, according to a report in the Italian media today.

FcInterNews.it revealed the Nerazzurri’s sporting director Piero Ausilio was on great terms with his counterpart Charlie Ludi, which could lead to several deals between the pair.

Inter are likely to send several academy players on loan to Como for the 2021-22 campaign, so that their youngsters can gain experience in the world of first-team football.

The two clubs are set to hold talks in the coming weeks to discuss which players could be of interest to Como.

Inter are already reaping the benefits of one player who developed while on loan at Como, the report highlighted, with Nicolo Barella having spent six months there as a teenager back in 2016.

Como are geographically very close to Inter and this would also help the Nerazzurri keep tabs on their loan players next year.
