Inter midfielder Lucien Agoume is a transfer target for Marseille ahead of this summer, according to a report in the French media.

As per Le Dauphine Libere (via FcInterNews.it), Marseille are seeking potential alternatives in defensive midfield to Boubacar Kamara, who could leave the Ligue 1 side at the end of the season.

Agoume, currently on loan at Spezia, is one of the names included on sporting director Paolo Longoria’s shortlist, but the report warned there would be stiff competition for the 19-year-old’s services.

Inter value Agoume at €15 million and will take some convincing if they are to sell one of their brightest young prospects.

Agoume has made 12 appearances in all competitions since joining Spezia on a season-long loan, although he was an unused substitute for both matches against Inter in Serie A.

The Frenchman last played for Vincenzo Italiano’s side during a 2-1 defeat at Lazio on 3 April, coming on as a second-half substitute at the Stadio Olimpico.
