Inter have not given up on signing Robin Gosens from Atalanta in the summer, according to a report in the Italian media today.

FcInterNews.it said everyone at the club would approve of a move for the wing-back, who has enjoyed another fantastic season under Gian Piero Gasperini in Bergamo.

Gosens would be perfect for Antonio Conte’s 3-5-2 system and Inter have a plan to lower Atalanta’s €40 million price tag for the German.

The Nerazzurri could offer Sebastiano Esposito and Lorenzo Pirola as part of a deal, although a lot will depend on the budget Suning can make available for the upcoming transfer window.

Inter are waiting and monitoring the situation regarding Gosens, for whom they have already made a preliminary enquiry with his father (who now manages the 26-year-old).

Juventus, Atletico Madrid and Manchester City are also interested in a deal for Gosens, who has scored 10 goals and provided eight assists in all competitions for Atalanta this season.

Gosens would be a perfect present for Conte along with a new back-up striker, as Inter look to make an assault on the UEFA Champions League next year.
