Inter president Steven Zhang is already hard at work after making his long-awaited return to Milan today.

FcInter1908.it said Zhang visited Inter’s offices soon after landing this afternoon, where he met the club’s chief executives Beppe Marotta and Alessandro Antonello.

Inter have several issues which need clarification and fans are awaiting news from owners Suning on what the future holds.

Zhang will have time to start making progress with Marotta, Antonello and the rest of Inter’s directors from tomorrow, with the report saying ‘big updates’ were expected.

Inter could become Serie A champions on Sunday but Zhang will not be in attendance for Saturday’s match away at Crotone, according to La Repubblica‘s online edition.

The Nerazzurri’s president needs to get to work on sorting their short-term financial problems and must also seek a new main shirt sponsor to replace Pirelli.

Zhang might also seek to try and break the impasse with Milan’s city council regarding Inter and AC Milan’s plans to build a new stadium in place of San Siro.
