Inter goalkeeper Andrei Radu has hailed club legend Walter Zenga and admitted he would love Ronaldo’s ability with his feet.

Radu has yet to make a single appearance for the Nerazzurri since returning from Genoa last summer and could leave again on loan next season.

The Romanian was asked to pick his all-time Inter XI in a feature for Inter TV earlier this week and started by picking his favourite predecessor in goal.

“It’s a difficult choice, I’d have to pick between Zenga and Julio Cesar,” Radu admitted.

“I’ll say Zenga for his all-time appearance record, he was consistent and constant.”

Radu focused almost entirely on Inter’s treble-winning team for his picks in defence and midfield, although there was also room for Luis Figo who left the year before.

“Maicon is at right-back, Cristian Chivu and Marco Materazzi are in the centre and I’ll have Javier Zanetti on the left,” he explained.

“I’m picking them because together they were Inter’s greatest defence ever.

“Esteban Cambiasso and Dejan Stankovic are perfect to play in front of the defence, not only because they won the treble but also because they knew how to do both sides of the game brilliantly.

“Figo can play on the right, Wesley Sneijder is the no. 10 and Samuel Eto’o will go on the left; they’d have been an exceptional trio together.

Radu was undecided between Ronaldo and Diego Milito as his lone striker, before eventually saying: “I’ll choose the Brazilian because he won the Ballon d’Or.”

The 23-year-old was also asked to choose which one talent he’d most want to steal from the players named in his all-time Inter XI.

“I’d definitely choose Ronaldo’s talent, his nonchalance was truly unique,” he added.

“I could do with his talented feet, that way I can dribble round an attacker when they approach me.”

Inter published a video of Radu selecting his team on Instagram.
